Welcome to the Driver App User Guide! This step-by-step manual will help you get started, explore all app features, and make the most of your experience. For each section, you’ll find detailed instructions, tips, and a space to add a demo video link for quick reference.

1. Getting Started

Getting started with the Drivers App is quick and straightforward. You’ll need to download the app from either the Play Store or App Store and have an account set up for you. If you don’t already have an account, the support team can help you create one. Once logged in, you’ll see your name at the top of the dashboard, along with several widgets representing different modules. Depending on your access level, you may see additional advanced features.

1.1. Account Setup & First Login

  • Download the Drivers App from the Play Store or App Store.

  • If you don’t have an account, contact support at servicedesk@zenduit.com to request one.

  • Once you have your login credentials, open the app and sign in. Enter your username and password.

  • Upon successful login, your name will appear at the top of the screen. You’ll see a settings icon in the top right corner where you can verify that you're logged in with the correct user.

1.2. Dashboard Overview

  • Main widgets: Video Review, Assets, Jobs, Forms, ZenScore (Beta).

  • Available modules may vary based on your access level.

  • Advanced features can be enabled by your admin.


2. Assets Module

The Assets Module allows you to view all vehicles or assets assigned to you. If you have administrative privileges, you may see all assets in your fleet. The module provides detailed information about each asset, including its location, trip history, stops, incidents, idling, and driving hours. You can also filter and sort assets by various criteria and view their real-time location on a map.

2.1. Viewing Assigned Assets

  • Tap the Assets widget to see all vehicles/assets assigned to you.

  • If you have admin privileges, you may see all assets in your fleet.

2.2. Asset Details

  • Tap an asset to view:

    • Trip history

    • Stops

    • Incidents

    • Idling time

    • Distance driven

    • Driving hours

2.3. Filtering & Sorting

  • Filter assets by:

    • Status (online/offline)

    • Groups

  • Sort assets by:

    • Status

    • Name

    • Activity

    • Battery level

    • Days stopped

    • Not communicating

2.4. Map View

  • View asset locations on the map.

  • Search for a specific asset or location.

2.5. Camera View

  • Access live camera streams (if available for your asset).


3. Video Review Section

The Video Review Section is designed to help you monitor and review video exceptions generated by the system. These exceptions are categorized based on system rules and can be filtered by date, vehicle, driver, and other parameters. The section also displays escalated videos for review and those that have already been used for coaching purposes.

3.1. Accessing Video Review

  • Tap the Video Review widget.

  • See video exceptions generated by the system.

3.2. Exception Categories

  • Raised by System: Automatic alerts based on set rules.

  • Escalated for Review: Videos sent for further evaluation.

  • Coached: Videos already reviewed and used for coaching.

3.3. Filtering Videos

  • Filter by date range (this week, last week, custom).

  • Filter by driver (if you have manager access).

  • Filter by vehicle, rule, tag, or group.

3.4. Reviewing Exceptions

  • Tap an exception to view the video and details.

  • Understand the rule violated (e.g., forward collision warning or phone usage while driving, etc.).

4. Jobs Module

The Jobs Module allows you to view and manage tasks assigned to you as a driver. Each job includes one or more stops, work order details, and route information. You can preview routes, start navigation, and mark jobs as completed. Some jobs may have associated forms that need to be filled out upon completion.

4.1. Accessing Jobs & Viewing Job Details

  • Tap the Jobs widget to see your assigned jobs.

  • Each job lists:

    • All stops/locations

    • Associated work orders

    • Distance for each stop

4.2. Navigating Jobs & Completing Jobs

  • Tap a job to:

    • View notes and details for each stop

    • Preview the route on the map

    • Select a starting location

    • Start navigation

    • Once you reach a stop, mark it as completed.

    • After finishing all stops, close the job.

4.3. Job-Linked Forms

  • Some jobs have forms (e.g., safety checklists) attached.

  • Complete and submit these forms as required.


5. Forms Module

The Forms Module is where you’ll find tasks or forms assigned to you by your manager. These could be safety checklists, inspections, or other required submissions. Forms can be standalone or linked to specific jobs. Once completed, your submissions are stored for future reference.

5.1. Accessing Forms & Completing Forms

  • Tap the Forms widget to see tasks/forms assigned to you.

  • Fill in required fields (e.g., text, signature).

  • Submit the form once completed.

5.2. Form Submissions

  • View your submitted forms in the submissions list.

Note: Forms may be sent as standalone tasks or as part of a job.


6. ZenScore (Driver Safety & Feedback)

ZenScore provides insights into your driving performance and safety. It displays your ranking among other drivers, compares your scores week by week, and shows both exceptions and coaching feedback. This module helps you track your progress and understand areas for improvement, with automated feedback provided for each week.

6.1. Accessing & Understanding Your Score

  • Tap the ZenScore widget on the Driver's App.

  • You can see your ranking among all drivers (e.g., 28 out of 40).

  • View group rankings if you belong to a group.

6.3. Weekly & Historical Data

  • Navigate between weeks to see score changes.

  • Colored circles on the graph show weekly fleet averages.

6.4. Exception & Video Review

  • See exceptions and video events for each week.

  • Tap to view details and coaching feedback.

6.5. Coaching Feedback

  • Automated feedback appears for each week (e.g., “No accidents this week”).

  • Acknowledge feedback as needed.
