TL W212B

The tracker is using GNSS & LTE technologies and could collect device coordinates and then transfer

them via the LTE network to the server. It provides customers with cost-effective, efficient and safety

management. It has been widely used in commercial transportation, company vehicle fleet management,

intelligent transportation, logistics, car rental, engineering machinery, marine transportation, animal/pet

tracking and other segments.


The device is shipped with the power switch OFF. Prior to installation, unscrew the back of the tracker and turn the power switch to the ON position


SIM Setup

  1. Unscrew 4 screws on the side panel,
  2. Open the tracker's rear cover with the screwdriver.
  3. Insert the SIM card with a little push. Turn the power switch from off to on.
  4. Put the cover back and use a screwdriver to fix the cover tightly.
  5. You can use the connection cable to connect the device to your computer (For overriding configuration if required) OR to recharge the battery externally

Connect the tracker to a vehicle

  1. Untighten the cap of the tracker.
  2. Plug the extension cable to make it firmly attached.

  1. Tighten the cap on the extension cable until it can’t be turned anymore.
  2. Connect the wires from the extension cable using the chart on the device for the pinout

  1. Please make sure the tracker cap is tightened firmly to protect the pins.
  2. Secure to the vehicle using the holes on the side of the tracker


Note: Indicator lights will go out automatically after the tracker turns on for 70 seconds without

connecting to the external power via a USB cable.

Installation Location

TL W212B can be installed on the roof of the trailer. User must ensure that the device does not come in contact with bridges or snow removal equipment

TL W212B can be installed on the front of the trailer for inches down for the roof line

Do not install the TLP1-SF on the Rear doors of the trailer or on the Flatbed or Chassis

Device Setup

After selecting the location to install the device, there are two ways to mount the device:

Use four self-tapping screws provided to mount the device to a flat secure surface
You can also use zip ties, 3M double-backed tape, and industrial Velcro.


Note: Do not overtighten the self-tapping screws as they will crack the base


The device needs to be mounted with the label “This Side Towards Sky”. It can be mounted sideways or vertically with the GPS pointing up.
