ZenBUS School Bus:
Parent App Guide
ZenBUS is a software application that equips school administration (managers) with the ability to create Bus Routes - giving parents real-time notifications and updates on the bus location and arrival.
The ZenBUS application works by communicating with telematic hardware installed on the school bus. The hardware will transmit real-time data of the bus’ activity/location along with various other information. This information will be gathered and relayed into the application for parents to easily digest.
“I want to be better plan my mornings without the fear of missing the bus”
“I want to know when the bus is running late or canceled”
“Is my child on the bus?”
“Did my child get off the bus? If so, where?”
“Has the bus safely arrived at the school?”
To login and view bus/student activity and information, you must first download the ZenBUS Application for either the Google Play or App Store (depending on your device).
Once the app has been downloaded. When you open the app you will see two service options ("Shuttle" and "School Bus"). Select “School Bus”.
Next, select the School you would like to set up and access information for.
Enter your phone number and appropriate country code (this must be the same phone number used to register your account with the school administration) and select “Login”.
You will then receive a numeric OTP (One-time Password). Enter this password and select “Continue”. If successful, you will see a “Verified Successfully” screen. Select “Continue” once again to complete the login process.
You have now successfully logged into your ZenBUS account and can view your student and bus activity.
On the bottom menu of the App, there will be a “Notifications” tab. This is where you will find a log/history of all notifications.
On the top right corner of the screen you will see a “Clear All” button. This button will only be visible if you have any notifications logged.
