Z6 Camera - Adding an APN from a QR code

This article will explain how to add an APN from a QR code: 

An Access Point Name (APN) provides information from your network provider that enables the AI-12 dashcam to connect to the internet.

IMPORTANT NOTE: To add an APN from a QR code, you need to have access to the dashcam, a power source, and a computer or mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.

TO ADD AN APN FORM A QR CODE: 

  1. Connect the dashcam to a 12V power source.

  2. Open the internet network on the device you are using to generate a QR code.

  3. Go to a QR code generator, such as this one.

  4. Enter the following information in the Free Text box:

    name=APN-name;apn=apnAddress.example.com;mcc=000;mnc=000;

    Replace the text in italics in the example above with information provided by your network provider.

    A QR code is generated.

  5. Scan the QR code with your dashcam.

    The APN is added to your dashcam.
