Installation Guide: Wired BLE Relay with Asset Trackers

🔹 1. Device Overview

  • Model: ZenTrack T-Relay (BLE + Wired)

  • Primary Use Cases: Engine cutoff, fuel pump control, door locks, sirens, AC, seatbelt/door sensors

  • Control Methods: Bluetooth (via phone or ZenTrack), Wired (via digital input/output)

🔹 3. Installation Steps

✅ Powering ON

  • Connect Red (VIN) to vehicle power (7V–60V).

  • Connect Black (GND) to vehicle ground.

  • No internal battery – device turns off when power is cut.

✅ Bluetooth Setup (TFTBLE App)

  1. Download the TFTBLE App:

  2. Turn on Bluetooth & open the app.

  3. Scan for T-relay device or scan the QR code on the label.

  4. Default password: 654321

  5. Use the Config menu to:

    • View status

    • Trigger relay manually

    • Update firmware

✅ Tracker Integration

Option A: Wired

  • Control Input (Blue) → Connect to tracker’s digital output.

  • Status Output (Green) → Connect to tracker’s digital input.

Option B: BLE

  1. Ensure the tracker supports BLE.

  2. Retrieve T-relay MAC address from TFTBLE app or QR.

  3. Add sensor MAC to tracker config.

  4. Set tracker BLE reporting interval.

🔹 5. Troubleshooting Guide

Issue

Solution

TFTBLE shows "Loading"

Restart app, grant permissions, bring phone close to relay

App can't find relay

Check power supply, verify BLE is on, scan QR code manually

Relay not triggering via tracker

Check wiring or MAC ID configuration in tracker
