SurfSight/Z6 camera - Manual Firmware update
This article explains how to update Surfsight/Z6 camera Firmware manually.
Steps
Follow the below steps to update the Firmware on the SD card
- Remove the SD card from the camera and insert the SD card into the Desktop/Laptop
- Select the SD card folder, right-click on it and click on the format option
- Copy the update.zip file on to the root of the SD card ( no need to extract the zip file)
- Once the file is copied, remove the SD card and insert it back into the camera and allow it to go through the boot sequence
