Pair the auxiliary camera over Wifi using the Surfsight View app for Z6

Procedure:

To pair auxiliary cameras using the app:

  1. Install the Surfsight View app from your app store onto an appropriate device.


  3. From the device settings, select the auxiliary camera's WiFi.

    1. Auxiliary camera WiFi names appear similar to: IPCAM-XXXXXX.

  4. Open the Surfsight app and wait until the auxiliary camera selected above is recognized.


  6. Press app-settings-cog.png to the right of the camera.

  7. Select Wi-Fi.


  9. Enter the SSID, Encryption Type, and Password.


    1. The SSID and Password are found in your dashcam's WiFi settings.

    2. The Encryption Type is WPA2-PSK.

  11. Press APPLY.

  12. Press app-exit.png to close the app.

  13. Repeat steps two through eight for any additional auxiliary cameras you want to pair to the dashcam

    1. NOTE: You can Pair upto 4 AUX camera with Z6 Camera

  14. From the device settings, select the dashcam's WiFi.

    1. The dashcam's WiFi name appears similar to: Dash-XXXX.

  15. Open the Surfsight View app.

  16. Select the auxiliary cameras you want to pair with this dashcam.


  18. Press the back arrow at the top left of the page

    1. A single camera view appears.

  19. Click anywhere on the screen to see the following menu:

    1. Press 1 to return to the single camera view.

    2. Press 4 to view a four-tile screen with all the video streams - the dashcam's and any paired auxiliary cameras'.

    3. Press app-settings-cog.png to return to the Configure Cameras screen
