Mount the dashcam onto your windshield - Z6

Procedure:

To mount the AI-12 dashcam on a vehicle's windshield:

  1. Attach the mounting bracket onto the dashcam.


  2. Once attached, the mounting bracket locks the dashcam into position.

  3. Press the touchscreen of the AI-12 dashcam to wake it up.

  4. Enter the default PIN 3333 to unlock the dashcam for the first time, or your own PIN subsequently.


  5. Press Live View.

  6. Use the arrow keys to toggle between the road-facing and in-cabin views.
  7. Use the dashcam views to position the dashcam.

  8. When positioning the dashcam, place it as high as possible on the driver's side of the vehicle.


  9. Remove the adhesive tape cover and mount the dashcam onto the windshield.

Ensure that:

  • you have a clear view of the driver's upper body

  • you have a clear view of the road

  • the dashcam doesn't obstruct the driver's field of vision

  • ​the dashcam has a direct line of sight to the sky
