ZenduOne Work - Mobile Phone Tracking Setup & Validation

This guide will cover how to setup devices with the ZenduOne application to gather location directly from the mobile.

Setting up the mobile device on the platform

  1. Log in to the ZenduONE platform at trax.zenduit.com
  2. Go to "Admin" section from the left sidebar
  3. Click "+ Create User" button.
  4. Enter all the relevant details of the driver.
  5. Select "Send Login Email" checkbox. This will send the app download link and credentials to the driver's email and phone upon saving.
  6. Select "Driver" user type.
  7. Select "Fetch location from mobile GPS" checkbox.

Setting up the mobile application of the driver

  1. Follow the instructions sent on the driver's email and mobile to install the application and log in using the credentials provided. The mobile application is available both on Google play store and Apple app store under the name "Zenduone".
  2. After logging in, click on the cog icon from the upper right corner.
  3. Activate the tracking. The driver can deactivate the tracking when not working for the organization to protect their privacy.

Validating the mobile app tracking on the platform

  1. Log in to the ZenduONE platform at trax.zenduit.com
  2. Go to "Assets" section from the left sidebar.
  3. Search for the driver name.
  4. Check the last location and last communicated date. These should be accurate as per the driver's location. Verifying these 2 details confirm successful setup of the mobile phone tracking.
