Indoor Tracking Reader Configuration
How to set up a new reader to use with Trax Indoor Tracking.
To configure a new reader:
- Take a new Bluetooth Gateway Plug Mini reader out of the box and record the MAC ID, located above the QR code on the side of the reader.
- Plug the reader into a wall socket. You do not need to press the power button, and there will be no light or sound indication that it is working.
- Connect to the Wi-Fi network ZENDUIT_BLE through your phone.
- Navigate to the network settings or Wi-Fi management tab and then Manage Router. Some possible ways to try are:
- Click the Wi-Fi network again
- Advanced Wi-Fi settings
- Open a chrome or internet browser tab
- Check your notifications
- Click Configure WiFi
- Enter the SSID and password. DO NOT PRESS SAVE YET.
- SSID: GoFleet-Wifi
- Password: 18889981122##
- Press Save.
- If you saved a setting wrong or pressed save early, you must factory reset the reader by pressing the power button on the side for 30 seconds, and repeat from the beginning of step 3.
- If the configuration is done correctly, the reader should have a solid blue light with an occasional green flash.
