SurfSight/Z6 camera - Manual Firmware update

This article explains how to update Surfsight/Z6 camera Firmware manually.

Steps

Follow the below steps to update the Firmware on the SD card
  1. Remove the SD card from the camera and insert the SD card into the Desktop/Laptop
  2. Select the SD card folder, right-click on it and click on the format option
  3. Copy the update.zip file on to the root of the SD card ( no need to extract the zip file)
  4. Once the file is copied, remove the SD card and insert it back into the camera and allow it to go through the boot sequence
