How to Export and Upload Camera Parameters using Veyes App
Follow the steps below to download, export, and upload camera parameters using the Veyes app.
Step-by-Step Guide
Download and Open Veyes App
- First, download the Veyes app from the app store and open it on your phone.
Turn on the Camera’s WiFi
- Press the panic button on the camera twice to enable WiFi.
- The camera should say “APN mode enabled”.
Connect the Phone to the Camera’s WiFi
- Open your phone’s WiFi settings and connect to the camera’s WiFi network. The network name should start with ST-XXXXXX (where XXXXXX is the camera’s serial number).
Open Veyes App and Connect to the Camera
- Once connected to WiFi, open the Veyes app.
- Ensure the app is connected to the correct camera by verifying the serial number (S/N).
Login to the Camera in the Veyes App
- Enter the username and password—both should be “admin”.
- Click Login to proceed.
Connect Your Laptop to the Camera’s WiFi
- On your laptop, connect to the same camera WiFi network. Note: This step requires a laptop, as a phone cannot establish this connection.
Open an Incognito Browser Tab
- Open an Incognito tab in your browser.
- In the browser, type 192.168.240.1 in the address bar.
Access Camera Configuration
- Use “admin” as both the username and password to login.
Export Camera Parameters
- After logging in, go to the “Maintenance” section.
- Click on “Config” and then select “Export Parameters”.
Download and Upload Parameters
- Download the exported parameters file.
- You can now use this file to upload the parameters to other cameras.
Note: You can only upload the camera configuration files to similar models of cameras.
