How to add Marked Locations in ZenduMaps?

This article explains how to add Marked Locations in ZenduMaps

Marked locations are geolocations that will be shown to the drivers when they are navigating through their route. These locations can be special points of interest that you want to keep highlighted to the drivers.


You can select from a pre-defined set of icons that will highlight such locations


Pre-requisites

There are a few pre-requisites for this feature:

  • A CSV file containing at least 3 columns -

    • Address of locations

    • Latitude

    • Longitude



How to add Marked Locations?

  • Navigate to ZenduMaps > Road Import > Locations

  • Click Import Locations.

  • Drag & Drop your CSV file containing all the locations.

  • Select the column name for Address, longitude & latitude.

  • Give a name to the location group

  • Select an icon for all the locations in the location group

  • Click Save.



How to edit Marked Locations?

  • Click on the 3 dots and then Edit for the location group you wish to edit from the list on the left pane.

  • Upload the new CSV file of the location group.

  • Follow the same steps as adding a new location group.
