The Driver Identification FOB Key feature allows fleet managers to assign unique key identifiers to drivers. With Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) FOB keys, driver identification is both secure and simple, ensuring that only authorized drivers operate assets without the need for additional hardware.

Setting Up Driver Identification FOB Keys
Step 1: Access the User and Driver Pages
- Log in to ZenduOne with your credentials.
- Navigate to the Users page from the main dashboard.
Step 2: Adding a Driver with a FOB Key
- Select the Drivers section under Users.
- Choose Add New Driver or select an existing driver to update.
- In the driver details form, locate the Driver Identification Key Number field.
- Enter the unique BLE FOB key number assigned to the driver in this field.
- Click Save to link the BLE FOB key with the driver.
Step 3: Using the BLE FOB Key for Driver Identification
- Once assigned, the BLE FOB key allows drivers to authenticate their identity when operating assets without the need for extra hardware.
- ZenduOne will log driver activities associated with each BLE key, enabling accurate monitoring and reporting.
Editing or Removing a FOB Key
- To Edit a FOB key number for a driver, go to Users > Drivers, select the driver, update the Driver Identification Key Number field, and save.
- To Remove a FOB key, simply clear the Driver Identification Key Number field and save the changes.
Note: Only authorized users with administrative privileges can edit or delete FOB key numbers.
