Smartwitness Camera Basic troubleshooting steps

This article explains how to complete basic troubleshooting steps for a SmartWitness camera.

Steps

Follow below troubleshooting steps:
      1. Turn off the ignition.
      2. Remove the SD card and re-insert it back
      3. Remove the SIM card and re-insert it back.
 Make sure the ignition is completely turned off before removing and inserting the SD card and SIM card.
If the issue still persists after following the troubleshooting steps, please get the device_info and log folder from the SD card and forward it to support for further investigating the issue.
Follow the below steps:
      1. Pull out the SD card.
      2. Insert it into the SD card reader.
      3. Open the SD card folder.
      4. Copy the device_info and log folder files.
      5. Attach the file in the mail and send it.
Note: Also, let us know the LED light status on the camera unit (i.e. blinking/solid red, blue, and green light).
For the CP4 unit, the LED light will be on the panic button.
